| GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT AUTHOR |
| Author's Name: Corporate Affiliations: Scope of Publications: Fields of Specialization: General Contact Info: |
Give your name and any published pen names
or corporate names you use. Explain if you write and publish for an organization, corporation, or who you are affiliated with as an author (not necessarily who you work for day-to-day). List the scope of your publications and fields you publish in, in very general terms (e;g; science, literature, fiction, etc.), as well as fields you are getting into. List the fields you specialize in, or have specialized in, or would like to specialize in for upcoming publications (e.g. archeology, true crime, travel, gardening, etc.) List contact information for Publishers to reach you. Remember, a lot of them don't like e-mail, and e-mail names often disappear. This may be the most crucial piece of information they rely on -- so give them a permanent contact! |

| DETAILS ON EXISTING MANUSCRIPT AND PUBLICATIONS |
| Publication Details: Manuscript Details: Payment Structure: Marketing and Selling: Submission Timing: |
1. List details of each published book you
have done, yourself or with others. 2. Explain the best features of the book -- why the publisher took it, etc. 3. Explain it's scope and what it did for the reader and field in general. 4. List the features of the work that make it unique, or out of the ordinary. 5. Give references for the best books -- publisher contacts who like your works. 1. List details of each manuscript you are working on, yourself or with others. 2. Explain its best features -- why a publisher would want it, why it would sell. 3. Explain it's scope and the market that the publisher could expect to sell it to. 4. List the features of the work that make it unique, or out of the ordinary. 5. Give a way for publishers to get a sample of the work, if they want to see it. 6. DO NOT put any part of your works on our site -- only talk about them. Specify your general terms and if you have any special requirements -- advance payments, royalties, do you prefer a buyout, consignment. etc? Are there any special author rights and percentages? Remember there are no agent fees in any transactions via our site, so you can give publishers a better deal than if you have to pay agent commissions. If you don't know what to say, just say "flexible", but get an attorney before you sign the contract. For any in prep. works, give your take on what methods you think will promote the book, what the work's circulation might be, its primary readership, and scope. If there are any special timing considerations on in prep. works, list them here. |

| DETAILED INFORMATION ON PLANNED AND FUTURE
WORKS OR IDEAS |
| Be Creative and Original: |
This may be the only site on the Iinternet
where you will get a chance to share you
future plans and ideas with Publishers. Write
this section very carefully. Do NOT post anything on our site that will give
away proprietary ideas about your future
MSs or works to anyone else (remember, other
authors will be reading these submissions
too!). Rather, give the Publisher a
very upbeat presentation of your interests
and talents in certain fields -- what you
know that others don't, and what you can
do that others can't -- give them your best
sales pitch. If they like what you say here, and how you present yourself, there is a very good chance that a perceptive publisher will zap up your next work before you even get a chance to start it! Do careful thinking before you finish this section. |

| Links to Your Site(s): | If you have any sites where either you or
your published works are presented, list
them here, with links that the publisher
can merely click on to go to that site. If
you don't know how to do it, just put the
text you want to be the link in quotes, and
in [square brackets after that text, put
the internet address]. We will fix it for
you. e.g.: To see my latest book on medicine, "click here" [www.medlink.com/medbook.html]. FINALLY, ADD ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT THAT WILL HELP SELL YOUR WORKS. SAY ONLY WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH AND LIVE WITH! |
