Advertising and Rates Although anyone can freely search our databases and see what other people and companies are doing, the main way to get value from this site is to feature yourself (if an Author or Writer), or your company (if a Publisher), so other people can see exactly what you do. Every Publisher and Writer advertising on this site gets their own page, featuring their work, field of interests, contacts, conditions of acceptance, and so on. We stipulate no content for you -- it is your page to say and showcase whatever you want -- as long as it is not offensive to conservative internet users. We require only good contact data, so interested parties can reach you via email, or regular mail. Subsidized Advertising When you pay for a listing, it is good for 1 year (sometimes more), and it covers only a portion of the cost for us to maintain the page, index your information into a searchable database, and to maintain the discussion and communication forums. In fact, the lower Author and Writer rates are actually subsidized by the Publishing Companies' higher rates. Most larger companies don't mind a two- or three-rate structure, because they realize that their subsidy goes toward helping new and upcoming authors get good works published -- maybe even their next best seller! Authors, Writers, small Publishers, and new Internet Publishers, do not have free listings, and need to request a listing. The rates for listings in the table below are less than the cost of professional web pages. They depend on whether you prepare your own web page and handle mail, or have us do it -- it is best to handle your own mail.
